The eternity of Silence [22.04.2011 Guingamp – France] The night does not know our sleep; not entirely. Or maybe she does not understand it. And so, as silhouettes of autumn, we go through Spain towards France in the long hours this evening. We find here a country within another country: Brittany. Fif, the helmsman of this boat tells me, with eyes still passionate for our Oporto, tells me that Brittany and Portugal are the same: not a path nor a passage, but a destination. To us it has been in itself also an harbour; a departure and an arrival - an elusive target for whom no longer belongs to anywhere. And so, we took the stage of this country as if it was the last concert; as if the blood abandoned us in a blast and what followed was the eternity of silence. João Rui
