Days Without memory II
Now that I’m surrounded with pomegranates, even more that salt water, I decided to gather strength to move from where I stood. The excitement of each step is accompanied by a symphony of flavors that comes to me from the first trees of the garden: my two tireless and magnificent warriors were already machinating with a thrust that even I could not have imagined (beautiful and long will be their war bonnets with the countless eagle feathers they are earning here. Just like the old indians used to believe).
It is curious how the taste of pomegranates is so docile in our mouth and here it is wild, restless, fleeting ... he hides in the highest branches and laughs at our moves – So, in the end, it is by seduction and not conquest that he delivers himself to our hands.
If my bones still seek unity, those of my two brave are unaware of such a virtue: there are in this lair, marks of battle and silent wounds.
But it is too early to take them away from here. The blood still boils in the veins of this delirium and the sweat of my hands is not yet ready to deliver himself to him.
I return to the border and I go mute once again.
There, over yonder, in a delayed duet, rises a magnificent mast of strings on the edge of the orchard and the pagan ritual begins once more.
If I still have strength it is not to be a stranger to them.
