Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys & Girls, O regresso do Lobo.

Hoje, 14 de Março às 17h no Forum Fnac em Coimbra, é o dia do pré-lançamento da 2ª edição do nosso álbum “Like The Wolf”. Desta vez o lobo regressa com outro nome - “Like The Wolf Uncut” e é o olhar completo sobre o trabalho “Like The Wolf” sem censura de tempo.

Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys & Girls, the return of the wolf - Today, March 14th is the day of the pre-release of the 2nd edition of our album, "Like The Wolf." This time, the wolf returns with another name – “Like The Wolf Uncut” and it’s the complete view over our “Like The Wolf” without censorship of time. This second edition brings all the roads that the wolf crossed to our arms, more music, more instruments still… more heart… Today it’s only in Coimbra, our hometown. On the 25th of March we’ll return after a brief trip to Belgium to present the official release of the album at the Cabaret Maxime in Lisboa. This is the cover, which was designed by Pedro Freitas: (see Upwards) This is a conceptual album, which can be described as follows, more or less in an informal manner: "The deepest marks that time leave us, occurs during childhood in our state of innocence. We are for a (very, very short) of our existence, diamonds in the rough. Sooner or later, time ends up eroding us. However, there are images that last, feelings that we do not forget. One is that in which the wolf is like a devil, a monster, the personification of fear. It is an image so strong that it constraints us, consuming the space around us and steals the air that fills it. With age, the perspective changes and fears that we had fade: our eyes now recognize the canine forms of this being. The concept of this set of songs is of the the illusions that steal our space. As we realize its fall, we will have already been bent by time. When the wolf ceases to be a threatening figure and becomes a mere living being, it becomes the sign of the illusion that has come to an end. The wolf, which was a threat, now reflects the flaws of a cut diamond. It is already too late, we can’t recover to the state where we were our rough form. The wolf ends up being an illusion/memory of our innocence – that is, indeed, a chimera. ". About the list of songs you’ll just have to wait for the 25th or come and join the wolf in Coimbra “The Wolf is Comin’ Boys!” Joao Rui
