From the room window [21.04.2012 Bremen - Germany] They tell me that here is also spring time; and that this winter, as I call it, is only my memory from the doors of the sea. It may be so: from the window of my room, the birds have been piling feathers and dreams and crumbs of trees in their upper branches - like nests. But every time I come to the parapet, my eyes are greeted by the shadows and black veils of noisy crows. And in their stare I envision their skill; this is how we get by these spring mornings: hidden among their feathers even darker than this solitude. If it were not for these nights warmed by the summer voices of those who came to hear us, I would also belong to their nest - and it would be I, the stranger that would receive me in black. João Rui
